         As Buddhists we celebrate every Poson Poya day in our school. Poson bhakthi geetha is the main event of the Poson poya day celebration. "Bhakthi geetha" means some special thing like devotional songs. Every year our school buddhist society organise a Poson poya celebration.  Like other years last year in my school life I participated to it. The main item of the programme was the Bhakthi geetha event. Many guests from Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the tooth Relic) were visited to watch our Poson Bhakthi geetha event.  As a member of the school music group, I participated for the Bhakthi geetha event as a violinist in the orchestra. It was very colourful and I had deepest thoughts about our Lord Buddha by participating this event. The songs that the music group sang in the Bhakthi geetha programme gave me a feeling something like peaceful feelings to me.

         Peradeniya Botanical Garden is a famous place in Sri Lanka. I have visited there many times. But this day I m going to tell you is a special day for me. Before two years I met new friends in my English class. So, for the buildup our friendship we decided to go a little trip. So we choose Peradeniya garden for that.  Peradeniya garden is botanical garden. There are too many ancient trees. Some of them gifts from the foreign countries. I think there were many different kind of trees more than flower plants. There were very beautiful flowers too. Some huge trees were full of rose and yellow colour flowers. Every flowers and trees were named with its biological name within a board. There is a bridge in the garden . It was located over the Mahaveli river.  We walked through it.            It was a poya day. I went one of my friend's house with another four friends. When we went there was only her. Her mother dad and her brother have gone somewhere else. There is little mountain with temple in that area. it's name is Niyamakanda. We plucked some flowers for bring to the temple. The temple was far away from the home. So we brought some snacks and cool drinks to eat when we arrived there. That temple was located on the top of a big rock. There were many big and small rocks and too many trees. That place was very calm and there wasn't any other buildings or houses. First we offered the flowers to the lord buddha and sang gatha. After that we watched around the temple. There was a huge and lonf rock behind to the temple. We went there and that place was very attractive. We could see a huge area with full of trees and mountains.We ate the snacks that we brought and drank the drinks. We spent more than two hours on that rock. It was...

         When I was in grade 12 there was an Arts Day in our school. It was organised by the Arts society of the Mahamaya Girls' College Kandy. There were many items for the programme.  "The women" was the topic of the arts day. There were more than 10 items based on that topic. Dulika Marapana was the chief guest of the Arts Day. She is a famous actress in Sri Lanka.  As the music group, our item was describe about steps of women's life and we sang songs suits for that steps. It was very emotional and interesting item. The Atrs day programme went well and from that we could add some experiences to our lives.

             Two years ago I did an ICT course. It was held at the YMBA hall in Kandy. The course name is ICT Technician Level4.  Before I Start the course there was a selection test. There were many candidates for the selection test and the board selected only 20 students. I was lucky to select to the course.  First day I met lot of friends. We learned together and helped each other. As well as we enjoyed our free times happily. After one year there was a theory and practical exam and we all passed that. I was very happy because we did our  exams from our best. As well as I could make new friends.  

 💓             Temple of tooth is a world famous place in Sri Lanka. It is situated in Kandy. Last year I went there with my friends. It was one of my friend's birthday. So we didn't have any party and we went to pray  temple of tooth. Before we went to the temple of tooth, we walked around the kandy lake. It is very beautiful. There were too many fishes in the lake. We put some foods to the fishes. They came up to the water and ate them quickly. There were many trees around the lake and the air was cold and fine. It is a calm and very attractive place. After spending  time in the lake round, we went to the temple of tooth. We bought some flower to offer. There was a little water of flower to wash hands and foots before we get in to the main offer hall. We washed our hands and got in there. We offered the flowers and sang gatha. That place was very silence and It calmed our minds.  After that we went to the temple's museum. T...
