Botanical Garden

         Peradeniya Botanical Garden is a famous place in Sri Lanka. I have visited there many times. But this day I m going to tell you is a special day for me. Before two years I met new friends in my English class. So, for the buildup our friendship we decided to go a little trip. So we choose Peradeniya garden for that.

 Peradeniya garden is botanical garden. There are too many ancient trees. Some of them gifts from the foreign countries. I think there were many different kind of trees more than flower plants. There were very beautiful flowers too. Some huge trees were full of rose and yellow colour flowers. Every flowers and trees were named with its biological name within a board.

There is a bridge in the garden . It was located over the Mahaveli river. We walked through it. There were some double coconut trees and different kind of foreign trees. 

 After that we sat under a huge tree and talked about many things. Peradeniya Garden is a very important place to study about botany. It is also calm and free place. I have loved going there since I was a child.
